This page explains how a platform user should monitor Orbital Audience after tags and integrations are live.

Daily Checklist

Area What To Check
Dashboard Traffic, visitors, conversions, and source trends.
Pages New URLs are being collected and classified correctly.
Visitors Recent visitors have sessions, profile attributes, and conversions when applicable.
Segments Audience sizes make sense and rules still match the campaign goal.
Site detail Tags, integrations, and site-specific overview remain healthy.
Data export Last upload succeeded and the next export date is correct.

Weekly Checks

  • Review top referrers and campaigns.
  • Review segment opportunities.
  • Confirm conversion volume by type.
  • Confirm live journey is showing only site-domain routes.
  • Confirm no preview/render host is generating false traffic.
  • Review data export failures, if any.

When Data Looks Wrong

Symptom Likely Check
/render appears as a page GTM preview/render host or missing canonical handling.
No conversions Conversion tag missing, wrong trigger, or firing before success.
Too many conversions Conversion tag firing on non-confirmed pages or repeated events.
Missing campaign data Landing URLs do not keep UTMs or GTM trigger runs too late.
Segment too small Required signal is not being collected or rule is too restrictive.
Export failed Credentials, permissions, firewall, dataset, or table name issue.

What To Share With Technical Teams

When requesting implementation help, share:

  • Site name and domain.
  • Main Install Code snippet.
  • Conversion snippet and success condition.
  • GTM trigger rule.
  • Expected conversion event type.
  • BigQuery or database destination details, when configuring export.
  • Advertiser Floodlight src, type, and cat, when applicable.

Do not share personal credentials in tickets or documentation.
