Daily Use¶
This page explains how a platform user should monitor Orbital Audience after tags and integrations are live.
Daily Checklist¶
| Area | What To Check |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Traffic, visitors, conversions, and source trends. |
| Pages | New URLs are being collected and classified correctly. |
| Visitors | Recent visitors have sessions, profile attributes, and conversions when applicable. |
| Segments | Audience sizes make sense and rules still match the campaign goal. |
| Site detail | Tags, integrations, and site-specific overview remain healthy. |
| Data export | Last upload succeeded and the next export date is correct. |
Weekly Checks¶
- Review top referrers and campaigns.
- Review segment opportunities.
- Confirm conversion volume by type.
- Confirm live journey is showing only site-domain routes.
- Confirm no preview/render host is generating false traffic.
- Review data export failures, if any.
When Data Looks Wrong¶
| Symptom | Likely Check |
|---|---|
/render appears as a page |
GTM preview/render host or missing canonical handling. |
| No conversions | Conversion tag missing, wrong trigger, or firing before success. |
| Too many conversions | Conversion tag firing on non-confirmed pages or repeated events. |
| Missing campaign data | Landing URLs do not keep UTMs or GTM trigger runs too late. |
| Segment too small | Required signal is not being collected or rule is too restrictive. |
| Export failed | Credentials, permissions, firewall, dataset, or table name issue. |
